Several Types of content can be created.
For example, content that describes the details of various hotels could have a Type called “Hotel.” Content that serves the purpose of a blog could be given a Type called “Blog Post.”
Some Types can be contained within other Types (think about these as subtypes or child types).
For example, a Type called "Hotel" could have another Type called "Room" that describes the various styles of rooms within the Hotel. It is possible to have the Room Type contained within the Hotel Type.
For example, a Blog Post is something completely different than a description of a Hotel, so these should be two different Types.
For example, a Type preference allows specifying the User Groups that the Type would be accessible to.
